In Switzerland, water is the greatest natural energy source. Eager to portray this force, I embarked on this project in 2010, only to encounter the lowest precipitation levels that year. As a result, I found myself capturing dried riverbeds and motionless machinery as my subjects. Surprisingly, the ruggedness of these structures revealed a semblance of modern ruins, akin to sculptures from a distant past, leaving visible scars on the landscape.
